I completely agree. ( even Jim Johnson would be a good choice)

I think the cover athlete should be Ryan Braun, because he's a great player, that put up MVP numbers in the 2012 MLB season.

I dont know if any of u have noticed but the show does not do pitcher( so not verlander, cain, gonzalez, etc.) they do people that were potential mvps early in the year( so forget about people like fielder, trout, even the triple crown winner Cabrera) and also they put up people who had a good season( so forget about your precious hall of famer Chipper). The Show puts on people with excellent early seasons, no doubt its not one of these 4:
Josh Hamilton: off to and amazing start leading in homeruns avg and rbi while almost leading and HR til end of season
Andrew McCutchen: off to a terrific start hitting for power and contact, contact held up til end of season while power died down

Melky Cabrera: had a terrific start constantly getting hits and leading in average until his suspension in august

Derek Jeter: off to an amazing start with his many hits that held through the whole year

It should be Miguel Cabrera because he won the Triple Crown. And like they did last year, have an exclusive canadian cover being Edwin Encarnacion
