Intro) OK, as promised here's the GOTY pick for the 1st half of the year. It's imortant to do this IMO, because it allows us to keep track of what was good. Doing this will help you for picking the final GOTY's at the end of the year. The same rules as before applies. The games must have been released this year and do not list games from the other systems. PS3 or PSP only.

The only new games I've played so far that released in 2011 for their respective PlayStation platforms are the following:
Killzone 3
Portal 2
PixelJunk Shooter 2
Plants vs. Zombies
Having said that, it doesn't give me much room to allocate these games on a giant list of potential space just yet. One question I have though is... with Plants vs. Zombies being a 2009 title originally, would that take it out of the running for 2011's Game of the Year?

I suppose now isn’t the time to tell you that I only bothered to purchase one PlayStation®3 video game from 2011 this year. There are not a lot of PlayStation®3 video games out there that I’m genuinely interested in but I will do what I can with your template. It is likely that I will come back and edit my selections.

Actually, you can put those games in whatever catagories they fit in. You can also put in PSP tiles, mini's, DLC, and PSN arcade games that you bought this year in whatever catagory it fits into. So, you can fill out the form.
You can list the PS3 version of PvsZ, since it was ported over to PSN. I'm just not sure when. But since the rules a less strict when it comes to downloads (because many people don't remember when they bought a download), then you can list it.

Yeah, I haven't made my picks just yet. I need to review the games I have bought this weekend and choose. So, you can always go back and edit. In the meantime, you can still fill out the GOTM so far list in my previous thread. By doing so it can be a guide for filling out this list. So yeah, edit when you can. There's no rush.
