Tonight, after a few games of people wandering around like tourists in New York City, admiring all of the scenery, we finally had someone take Platoon Leader and organized a tactic that actually got us a win.
BUT, I was thinking about how to get everyone on to something that could work until people caught on.
Having A, B and C points. What if people, regardless of PMC, broke up their platoons as such:
Alpha, Bravo and Charlie Squads of each platoon take their respective letters, Alpha goes to A, Bravo goes to B and Charlie goes to C. While you send your Delta Squads out to "patrol" mortar batteries and other items constantly.
It get's a little frustrating because people just go to one point and then stay there for a minute and then wander off to other letters and such.
Is this a decent strategy or idea for this mode?

I LIKE YOUR IDEA BETTER THAN MINE BUT THAT REQUIRES COMMUNICATION PMC WIDE AND BIGGER GROUPS. IF WE COULD GO ON TEAM BROADCAST/PLATOON BROADCAST IN THE GAME COUNTDOWN SCREEN IT WOULD HELP IMMENSELY.
I WAS SKEPTICAL ABOUT THE NEW MODE, BUT I ADMIT, I LOVE IT. IT IS EVERYTHING MAG SHOULD BE.

What the group of guys i played with tryed and seemed to work well for us was one platoon at your closest command point outside of your spawn and the other at the middle command point C. If you can get each platoon to maintain their apcs with repairmen and keep them in those 2 command points without leaving then chances are good you will win. Another strategy we tryed which you were in one of those games was to rush with one or two apcs to the enemies closest command point we did this in the game with you. This is more of a distraction since most players will see this being done and run back to defend it or secure it again. In turn this creates less players at C and the other command points therefore giving the rest of your team time to get into the command points and set up defense before the enemy realizes it was a diversion. However this strategy does not work when you run into a squad who can hold their own without backup which you guys did and won doing. We rushed and rushed and rushed and your squad stop us everytime buying enough time for you guys to win the game.

IT HELPED HAVING INHUMAN WITH A MIC AS THE OTHER PL, AND VE AND UPS AT THE TIP OF THE SPEAR.
YOU SHOULD PM DUNHAM ABOUT GETTING THOSE OVERHEAD MAPS OUT FOR INTERDICTION.

Yeah, I have never been one to "study" or want to "study" a map, but this mode, I am really curious to see the overheads.

What I have learned: recently seen a new tactic catching on: gassing the letter near the opponents spawn to slow its capture for an early lead..
Take your letter and C and hold them down for the win.
STICK TOGETHER! We failed at that a bit tonight.
Doc you gotta stop shooting me with that shotgun or else I am gonna have to find a way to knife you constantly.
