I was a little weirded out by Garrus not talking to me that often. I mean, you were so buddy-buddy with him in Mass Effect 1, yet now he's all like "Herp derp calibrations" I really wanted him to be my Carth. My "Go-to guy". But, eh. He was just the silent awesome dude hanging around calibrating. Like Mandalore, before he became Mandalore. What, Canderous or something like that? I can't remember his name, but I remember who he is.
I don't know, I just assume that because Bioware makes these games, and they are so dramatically similar, that they need to be the exact same. I think Mass Effect 2 was AWESOME, and I'm totally hooked on the series, but now that I look into it, I don't think that it's exactly a negative that we can't dive deeper into our companions. I mean, me and Jacob did promise to get loud and spill some drinks on the Citadel. What more can you ask for? It would have been great to sit there, for hours on end, listening to what Garrus and his squad did on Omega, in great vivid detail, but that didn't happen. Maybe in Mass Effect 3, but it's not going to be that huge.
Although I didn't know Jennifer Hale did Bastila, I did know that the guy who played Carth also plays Kaidan from ME1 and 2. I hope he plays a much bigger role in ME3, You don't really get to know him in ME2. I want more backstory for my companions in ME3. End the game with a bang! Go crazy! Make it awesome. I trust Bioware. They haven't let me down so far!
I kind of hope that it doen't have multiplayer other than co-op. I really like co-op and I've spent a good amount of time playing this game with friends and family around. It would have been great if I play as my Shepard, still make all the decisions and such, but when we go into a mission they are able to pick their characters from available teammates and pick their own weapons. That would be awesome. This could also be done online.
Thane is awesome. He's probably my favourite teammate other than Miranda (not just because of her rocking bod ). He's the only one with real depth to his story, he describes his religion, the story of his people, and I think that's all really cool and interesting.
Garrus is a cool character. He's funny and badass. I used him for the leader of my second squad. I take him on a lot of missions too because he's rather versatile. Yes, Canderous was his name. He was a complete badass. All of the Mandalorians were.
I hope that BioWare delivers on the character depth part in ME3. I have faith in them as well. They haven't let me down yet either.
I love Bastila so much. One of my favourite video game characters ever. Carth was pretty funny too though. I didn't get to know Kaiden at all because I let him die in the comic. I'm not even sure what he looks like. I also hope that they go all out in the next one. It should be the grand finale, no?
