Metal Gear Solid 5 confirmed

27 replies 368 views Edited Mar 27, 2013

Here's some not so shocking news. What I didn't expect was that 2 games would make up 1 game. Oh Mr. Kojima you sly dog you!

Check out those Fox Engine comparison screenshots.

Anyone who was anywhere near being smart would know they were one in the same and that Kojima was trying to keep it as obscure as possible. Especially with the whole whale thing and non-existent producer name.....

Logic, who would've thought eh? Oh wait.... No one thinks anymore.

Ooooooh yes. Will definitely be looking into this game.

But like the others, a Snake not voiced by David Hayter will surely sound weird. I hope the new voice actor can pull it off, or the Internet will go crazy in Hayter-Mania. :smileytongue:

What is it with great stealth games getting rid of the voice actors of their main characters? First Michael Ironside doesn't return as Sam Fisher in Splinter Cell: Blacklist. David Bateson almost didn't return as Agent 47 in Hitman: Absolution. Now David Hayter isn't the voice of Snake anymore.

They're actors. They can take other jobs if they want to. A lot of other voice work might pay better than video games.

You never know about no more Hayter. For all we know, Kojima could be trolling again regarding the voice.

Is David Hayter a part of anything else as of this time? With this being such a big role in such a big gaming franchise, I'm a little surprised he didn't take the role again. Since you posted about the possibility of being a part of something bigger than video games, is he doing anything else as of now?
