So with the recent announcement of Monster Hunter Online, what are your guys' general ideas? Do you see this game coming to Western home consoles, or do you see this staying exclusive to Asian countriesl. It has already been confirmed to have an "International" release, but from that vague of a statement, it may not reach us anyway.
For those of you who haven't seen it yet, here is some general information as well as a trailer.
Personally, I'm really exited to see this hit the states. It would be interesting to see a F2P approach to this game. Capcom would be missing a pretty good amount of money by not bringing this to consoles, and I'd love to get back to hunting with people on a Sony device.

Hey Indrux! I saw this last week and man it looked so good.
On a different note, i need some old friends to play mh3u or mhFo with!!!!
I have MH3u, but unfortunately only on the 3DS. Not willing to shell out money for a new system until there are at least 5 games I really want to play on it.
I'm really hoping for some sort of western release though. I'm just really banking on a ps3/ps4/vita release so that I can start hunting with my brother again, that has really been the only reason we stopped. I'm actually really glad they brought back a lot of the Gen 1 monsters, both large and small. Hopefully they will be able to suppliment this release with DLC now that systems are making it easier to add extra content.

Just so you guys know, I have been watching this with a hawk eye and have found myself in the first CBT Phase. I will be recorded when and if possible.

I remember watching the E3 trailer for Monster Hunter 1 before it released on PS2. I'm disappointed that that haven't brought another one to the Playstation Console. PSP is not being included in my point, not that I didn't enjoy them. Just isn't the same for me. Monster Hunter Tri could have been so much better if the released it on the Playstation and not the Wii. Either way I still played it a lot on the Wii. If this turns out to be a PC only, I will most likely pass on it.
