This is something I think all or most ps3 players have in common, they want monster hunter to come on to the ps3. I believe that would be capcoms best decision ever considering the following they have and the demand that is stretched from this franchise. This would be the best game to come out on ps3 sense uncharted 2 came out. This would help all people and make tones of money for capcom and ps3. Not only that it would bring about new monster hunter support internationally. All they would need to to is market it well. The game has so much potential on ps3 to be the best game ever made. It would also bring monster hunter to america and it would be just as popular here as anywhere!!!

you have to consider that like 90% of americans dont like to play a hard game. hence the popular games right now call of duty assassins creed ect
alot of us would love to have monster hunter on the ps3 capcom did it on the wii to basically advertise the game to a different crowd it will be awhile before they go into the expensive development costs of a ps3 game for a game that might not sell well outside of Japan
if you want a monster hunter substitute go play Demon's Souls its for the ps3 and i beleive its a greatest hits now
EDIT: monster hunter is not the best game ever.

it is. it really is.
For Demon's Souls the proper word would be "tedious."
my favorite example of this kind of "hard" is the original Mega Man (hey, a CAPCOM game!). Mega Man and DS are almost exactly the same, in this respect.
-MM had no checkpoints, if you died, you had to replay the ENTIRE level.
-Each boss was very difficult, but all had a trick/weapon that made them a joke.
-the game worlds could be played in any order, but there was an "unspoken" easiest order to do them in.
if you like DS style of challenge (and i do... btw, this is not me kocking DS... i freaking LOVE that game... its just his whole "its the hardest game ever" BS that i find annoying) you really need to play MM in its original glory (ALL challenge is lost on an emulator with savestates and the like).
compare MM1 and MM2. night and day if you consider DS style to be hard.

hahaha I like your randomality. I agree totally with demon souls being tedious, but im still going to have to interject and disagree with monster hunter being similar to demon souls.
Edit: i know randomality isnt a real word for dictionary talk but it is for urban dictionary talk

it is a word. thats the beauty of it!
on a related note: i heard this guys say "irregardless" is not a word. it absolutly IS a word. sure, the prefix and suffix cancel each other out and make it a superfluous/unecessary word people use to try to wound smart. but it still IS a word. the guy trying to say it isnt a word is the one usuing words he does not understand.
it not like i claim to be grammatically slick... i dont capitalize and my tenses are all over the place.
MH and DS do have some similaities... i see the main tie being that the same type of player would find them both fun. probably the most common thread i see between em.

im not sure why people found DS to be hard. game was freaking easy, just some boss took longer to kill then others(red and blue dragons). i can honestly say that in terms of difficulty, DS doesnt hold a candle to MH. i remember all the massive bouts of rage i experianced when i first played MH. i remember thinking "why the hell would anyone play something so GD hard?" lol. now its more along the lines of gold rathian doesnt get to do anything without my say so lol. in DS though, never really had to much trouble beyond the controls. i remember how "hard" everyone claimed flamelurker was. dude was and always will be a pushover. the only real hard part about DS are the assholes that get their friends to soul suck them to a low enough lvl that they can still use the northern reglia and then go invade new players and destory them with it. i hate the black phantom part apart DS. "im here to kill the bosses, not fight you and ur lag switch" is what i would tell people that invaded me and got pissed cause i quit the game on them. you cant enjoy that game online with out some douchebag with a lag switch invading you and ruining your day.

agreed.
its really is a pointless debate though. everyone wants to think their home-team is best no one wants their accomplishments deminished
