i doubt we will see a western/english release of MHF3.

While im sure CAPCOM does track where its units go (to a certain extent) my imports have been from play-asia, located in Hong Kong, so does CAPCOM think im Chinese?  is that why this new game got a chinese release and why Fronteir got a Chinese release?  have i just been voting for the chinese-perceived-popularity?

and as for money going back to the developers... the actual creators of games do not get any kind of bonus for more units sold.  sure, it encourages CAPCOM to put more money into the franchise, but lets be honest:  how many life size statues, armor sets, banners and boothes do they need?  and all the other marketing junk that the money is going to ONLY IN JAPAN, not the further development of the game or for any kind of international marketing.

i wouldnt import it for the reasons you just said plus its costs ridiculously more money to import it then it should. i would however buy it if it was released in the u.s. its a great game. its just a major load of bull thats prolly not going to be released here

Demo...been some time!  I played Tri for Wii, meh....

But I imported 3rd HD last week....get it, even if it's in Japanese!  I have at least 5 peeps that are playing it and it's better than old times, it's new times!
