PS3 and MH series

I play the games on psp and feel its lacking, mostly the lack of a second analogue stick. Most people agree that the game could use this needed "feature". Now if they brought this game to the big brother console then we would be able to have the stick.

Another possibility is with the Move controller along with the nav controller they could set up identical controls to the other console this series appears on.

With the PSN too they could even turn this game into a MMORPG.

What is everyones thoughts on this? Maybe if enough attention is brought to it here they may at least think about it.

Re: PS3 and MH series

monster hunter already has an MMO, its just not available outside of aisan countries. the second analog stick, in my opinion, would be useless for this game. it would be like the "lock on" feature every game review demands it needs because they suck and don't realize that a "lock on" feature would only serve to make things harder. if you can't hit the monster with out lock on, your not hitting it ever. everyone that i know that has played tri says that using the motion controllers is stupid and awkward. have yet to hear anything good about the motion controls for it. but seriously whats the point of motion control for it? if it was first person and/or "on the rails" type game, the it would be great.

capcom is just holding back, getting ready to blow us all away with the most epic moster hunter game ever for PS3 that will never be available outside of japan.

I've given up on a PS3 Monster Hunter. However, if I ever win the lottery, I will try to fund development for PS3 MH!

Re: PS3 and MH series

In a way it is good that there is no MH for the ps3.  I would literally do nothing but play it all day long.  I lost my life to the psp mh's, a ps3 version would just obliterate it to the point where I'd have nothing.

screw that if i ever win the lottery Im going to start a lab and clone turkeys until i breed a kut, gyp and hypnoc.... then ill invite you guys to come over and slay them with me!

And  I hate being mr pessimist but there is a MUCH greater chance of that happening then a MH EVER hitting a ps3..... unless i physically hit my ps3 with my ps2 copy of the game, but i dont think that would garner the effect im looking for.

Re: PS3 and MH series

the next part of the question:

IF they do ever make on on PS3, will it be localized to the west?

if they new psps all have video-out and can use teh ps3 controller, then id rather psp versions over console based versions.
