i may be ditching teh vita for this instead. there are 2 differnt MH games coming out now

and MH4 too... not sure about all that jumpy jumpy

and while running away is one of the key aspects of this game, they seem to have taken it a bit too far for me.

but ill buy them all... ill buy any legit MH game (i passed on that felyne game and the ipod game)

Exactly, they make it seem more like Monster Runner than Monster Hunter. What happened to the days when the MH trailers had 4 hunters standing their ground about to kick some ass together? Now we have a long hunter running away from Tigrex of all things?

I believe Capcom has made a conscious decision to focus on a younger demographic for Monster Hunter, thus the continued support for Nintendo consoles over the PS3. I'm not sure how we'd go about letting them know that there's money to be made with a dedicated "mature" version on a "high end" platform like Sony, but as long as they are making money from imports and Nintendo based ports, a PS3 version might never happen since it takes an investment to switch platforms.

Sad thing is that the threads that I "bumped" were at the top or nearly. Wouldn't surprise me if they archived this board till another game is slated to come out on a Sony platform.
