Explaination of problem if you don't want to watch the video:

So my girlfriend just got this game for me yesterday. And We played it for a little bit maybe.. 15-20 mins tops before it started making this sound. After having it off and turning it back on it seemed to be fine, but after the 20 mins of playing again (or even after one song) it would happen again. =/ i can't seem to get it to reverse. as you saw i tried to unplug and what not. I also tried to try another guitar or USB port (though it didn't show since the result was the same thing) And nothing worked. If anyone could possibly help me out on trying to fix this that would be great.

If I had to guess I'd say your cable is bad. This has been known to happen as apparently the things are kind of fragile. Only other thing I can think of is that maybe the guitar volume is too high.
