Go to the -core thread. You can talk about Lamb of God there too maybe.

LoG in the -core thread? Really??? Idk about that one. I don't think they have any -core to them whatsoever. If anything they are just straight up american metal or metal. That is my opinion though.

Rhapsody FTW!

Yeah, I figured I'd recommend one of their most well known/best songs although they have so many good ones. They have a lot of variation as well, it's hard to recommend just one really. The solo Luca shreds off in Gargoyles, Angels of Darkness is out of this world if anyone wants to have their face melted off. If I remember correctly, it starts at 9:50 into the song. That song by Iron Mask is reallllly fast as well.

Re: The Metal Thread

I just consider Lamb of God "metal". You can argue groove metal with metalcore influence, but eh, LoG doesn't sound like most metalcore bands and groove metal is kind of a loose term imo.

Groove is applied to those who lack the talent to play Thrash.

Re: The Metal Thread

LoG isn't "elite" metal, so people try to make the -core arguement. Simple as that. Same as how Slipnot is obviously metal, yet noone wants to call it that. But I'm not going to start this again, so...

yea.

HA that was kinda funny but I disagree. Everyone in that band (minus Randy cuz I don't think he could do good thrash vocs but who knows!) could EASILY play any genre of music. They are wicked talented especially Chris Adler and Willie his brother. Willie is CRAZY good at the guitar. He is self taught and uses weird chord shapes and timing patters. A perfectionist with his right hand rhythm.

Lamb of God's drummer is really good. I'll give them that.
