I don't know, which thrash bands do you like? Any specific taste for thrash? Bay Area thrash, party-type thrash, blasphemous extreme thrash?

Did you mention Aura Noir?

I thought they were pretty good. Black thrash like you said, but thrash nontheless.

Can't go wrong with Municipal Waste though.... **bleep**'ll **bleep** you up. :sim:

That's most certainly not thrash metal. More like entry level groove metal. I also get some nu-metal hints from their chorus. Bull**bleep**ing**bleep**.

I actually wanted to answer this thread with something to the effect of:

"No, there have been absolutely no new thrash bands in 15 years. Sorry!"

I guess I skipped them. I was skimming through my library and checking my most recently added albums. Aura Noir happens to be buried behind like 350 other albums. **bleep** reminds me I also forgot Profanator and Nocturnal. If you like Aura Noir, I THINK you should like Nocturnal. It's really solid blackened thrash/punk.

One of these times I'll probably go on a thrash binge and know exactly who to come to.
