I hope you stay around longer. You just posted 4 gems, which is a great change from the usual bull**bleep** that's posted here.

X2, good to see a thread that isn't about slipknot or metallica's new album...

Anyway all those where pretty good, only one I had actually heard before was the animal collective song, I have actually been meaning to check them out... what would you say is there most acessible album for a new listener is?

I only had heard of Animal Collective and Panda Bear. Panda Bear is a musician from Animal Collective who made some solo albums.

the latest one is most accessible then as you go back it gets less accessible just because the song structures are so different than most music you might hear on radio, they are really long with no real chorus

Feels by them is my favourite it has Purple bottle on it

 Contributing:

Death From Above 1979 -  You're a Woman, I'm A Machine

Going Steady

Battles - Mirrored

Atlas

How about some electronic/ambient/folksy/etc.etc.etc. (arguably hipster garbage)?:

Helios - Eingya

Halving the Compass

Talkdemonic - Eyes At Half Mast

Couldn't find any songs from their new album on youtube, thus no link, i.e. i'm really lazy. They sound like a really folksy electronic blend of ambient with slight tendencies of hip hop type beats here and there. Really good stuff.
