Personally I don't believe it. If you have to be high to enjoy something then obviously it was never that good from the begining.

Very true. Listen to how much better the Beatles' music got once everyone knew they were on drugs and they were able to drop the clean cut image. Hendrix, Joplin, the Doors, Eagles; all on drugs. You don't necessarily have to be high to enjoy music, but why not?

some people really enjoy music more under the influence. having once been a teenager i found it to be true that the experience is altered but as an adult i can enjoy the music just fine without the use of substances. Drugs are bad mmkay....

Very true statement. When I was younger I spent most of my weekends at raves and underground house parties. Nowadays, I don't really have a desire to be candyflipping all the time, although I still love House Music and Drum n' Bass. All of the music I have enjoyed and still enjoy was listened too under the influence and is just as enjoyable sober. But in regards to being stoned, again I ask, why not? Smokin a blunt is different than throwin a couple of rolls and some acid down your throat...
