It was actually ok  to be back at school today.

It was nice to see and speak to my friends again, who I haven't actually seen since school ended July - I don't really do anything with my friends outside of school.

I'm in 8th grade and I'm pretty smart so school's going good. I don't worry much about grades because its all easy if i study for a night or two. For me, it's all about the social aspect. I absolutely love going to see all my friends everyday. Without all mah friends, I'd probably end up trying to escape from school. :smileyvery-happy:

Sep 7, 2011

Out of a total 50 hours of lessons over two weeks (not including Lunch or Assembly, etc), 38 are spent in lessons. With 12 hours free. Later on these will be used for studying and on the off chance I get my C grade in Maths come November, that's another 5 hours knocked off, so there's 33 lessons in two weeks.

Sixth Form is supposed to get much harder as it goes on, which I'm not looking forward too but as of now it's fun. I've made new friends, spoke to people I've never spoken before and I have Drama everyday which is unbelievably awesome.

And for the record over this debate: My school begins 8:30 for Tutor time, 8:40 for lessons and ends at 3:00.

Sep 7, 2011

I forgot to say, I also have a half hour saxophone lesson every wednesday. This is in lesson time and can be in any lesson on a wednesday.

Sometimes its good if I'm missing Maths or History, but sometimes not. For example next week I miss half of D.T, the only decent lesson.

I'm in sixth form here in England. It's really good, I'm finding the subjects easy and I get ten 'study' periods a week, which I don't study in at all, I relax and come on the forums :smileyvery-happy:

I'm doing BTEC ICT, Media Studies, Sociology and English Language & Literature.

I'm really into film and game development, so I tried to choose subjects that suited them both. Media was a no brainer, as was ICT (we do flash game development on this course), but choosing the other two was tricky :smileyhappy:

Oh and my school starts at 8:45am for tutor/registration, and lessons end at 3:15pm. We get a 20 minute break at 11:10am and a 40 minute lunch break at 12:30pm.

I go to school at 9:00 AM and come back at 11:30 AM.

LOLjk. That's only for the first 2 days (Which is awesome because we never do anything on those days anyways).

On a regular day I come back at 3:05 PM.

Sixth form is definitely not 6th grade.

From what I've gathered, grades are one behind. Meaning if a brit was in year 9, it would be grade 8 in America. That's what I got from talking to a american person the same age.

Sixth form are the last two years of school before University. They include years 12 and 13 - so I assume that's grade 11 and 12. I think...

Do I still have the record for longest day?

8:30 - Tutorial

8:50- Lessons

3:10 - End
