i beat the first most wanted as a kid on my ps2 and it was my favorite racing game of all time. and one of the reasons why i loved it sooooo freakin much was because you could completely design what your car's paint job was.  that and the story was kick a-s-s. any way question is can you do that in this most wanted or is this just gunna be a repeat of hot pursuit were you can choose the color of your car? OOOOOO WOW so creative. a quick answer would awsome.

You have extremely limited customization. To make it totally clear: this is not a "Underground" game. You get expensive cars and you can unlock parts to make them drive faster. You can also change the paint job, but that is it.

In single player, you unlock upgrades (like better tires or lighter body) for each car by winning races in that car. Paint job is changed randomly when you drive through a repair station.

In multiplayer, upgrades are unlocked in a similar fashion but separate from SP, and paint colors are unlocked individually and can be changed any time once you have unlocked that color.
