Yesterday the latest issue of Game Informer arrived in the mail. Though I have yet to open it, on the cover it's as clear as day: an illustration of the game's child protagonist across white background.
Eventually I'll get around to digging through to the story itself (I do prefer reading cover-to-cover), but if you haven't gotten your copy yet and you're interested on maybe some new insight, then naturally Game Informer has you covered.

I'll have to give it a read when my copy arrives.
Game's still a long ways out =/
Ah well, I have XCOM to keep me busy for awhile.

Looking at the magazine a little closer after actually doing some reading through the new issue, I now see that it's not specifically a story centered around Ni no Kuni but rather it covers five different lesser-known titles such as Fuse, Dead Island: Riptide, and of course Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch. This being the third out of five covers, it's possible that you may end up with a different face on your magazine altogether.

I haven't looked forward to a game this much in a long time. I am so excited for the wizards edition to arrive I pre-ordered. I have never understood all this talk about game development being dead in Japan. Japan still produces almost all of my all time favorite games. Sony's Japan studio in itself comes out with some of Sony's best and most interesting games. And folks at studios like Level Five and Atlus make fantastic stuff.
Having Studio Ghibli animate a JRPG though is really a dream come true. Pity I'll be back in school when it comes out and will probably have much less free time. I'm only taking one class but we are apparently expected to write a novel in one semester which is craziness. Ni No Kuni gawking and gazing will probably suffer :-(

I believe it was only available through their site yes. I think it may have been a limited release thing as well, not sure if it's still available.
