Re: The Ni No Kuni Progress Thread

A bit of an update: I tamed every base form from the beginning of the game, up to Castaway Cove, and have completed all outstanding sidequests aside from a few bounties that I can't do until I have access to a boat. I have met the Cowlipha, and have mended her broken heart before saving and heading back to Castaway Cove. That's it for now, but now that I've finally beaten Corpse Party:Book of Shadows, and am just finishing up the platinum for Sly 4, I can concentrate more on Ni no Kuni.

So I took a bit of a sabbatical from the game for a couple weeks. Got a good bit of playing time under my belt today though. I just finished up everything in Hamelin and am currently completing some bounties and errands here and there.

The more I play this game, the more of an impact the score has on me. I don't know why, but as I was wandering the streets of Hamelin I was suddenly struck with the realization of how amazing the music in this game really is. I especially love the overworld theme. It's one of the many things that make the trek from town to town all the less cumbersome.

The music is beyond outstanding. Utterly gorgeous and mesmerizing. I'd love to buy the soundtrack for it.

I loved this game. I would play the whole thing over again if they had dlc missions.

POSSIBLE SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On my way to the Miasma Marshes with that flute thing! Almost finished with the game I think. Don't quite know how much more after the final Shadar and White Witch battles there is in the game.
