Here is a link to the info:- http://gematsu.com/2011/10/level-5-trademarks-ni-no-kuni-wrath-of-the-white-witch-in-america

It looks like Level-5 have chosen a final name for the US release

It's cool that they kept the Japanese name (Ni no Kuni), I doubt it'll have any adverse effect on sales like Scrawl are suggesting...but yes, good luck, Level-5. I'll be doing my part by picking it up as soon as I can

There was some commenting that the name "Ni no Kuni" was weird and should be changed for English. Can someone explain what is so bad about it?

Namco Bandai is publishing in NA/EU but I've read on GAF that Level-5 NA will handle the actual localization but will wait for an actual confirmation.  I just find it funny how Namco swoops in for all these other RPGs but fans will point the finger at them for their handling of Tales.

I think it was about the Japanese name alienating possible casual buyers, whereas if they called it 'Adventure Quest' or something, anyone would see what it was

I completely agree. Where's Vesperia on PS3, in the West? It makes zero sense for it to not be here yet, unless that big bag of cash they got from Microsoft to fund the PS3 development only led to it remaining in Japan because of exclusivity clauses not being worldwide, but only in the West. It's so shady and lame and I just wish they would confirm something.

Also, I am SUPER excited for this game. Studio Ghibli+Level-5 = WIN. The fact that Mamoru Fujisawa is doing the soundtrack makes it even more amazing too. It's basically Pokemon meets what the current gen Final Fantasy games SHOULD have been.
