Art of the Inferno or Art of the Wind Blades are good choices.
The Wind Blade Ninpo is great for crowd control and sets you up quite nicely for Obliteration Techniques --- that is, if your opponents aren't dead already. The smaller foes like the Black Spider ninjas and Tactical ninjas will usually die after getting amputated by the Ninpo. Larger enemies like Van Gelfs (those tall and lanky pink fiends) or the Werewolves will lose an arm.
Art of the Inferno is an instant kill against most enemies, including Van Gelfs, the lighter colored Werewolves and the Centaurs. The downside to this Ninpo is that the maximum number of foes you can hit at once is three (at max level).
Out of all of the Ninpo at your disposal, I find the Art of the Flame Phoenix to be the least useful. Although it lasts long, you are not invulnerable while casting and the firebirds themselves do minimal damage.
