First they cancel the HD/3D remasters of episode 2 and 3 to focus on the new movie, I was looking forward to seeing Revenge of the Sith.
Then they announce the next movie will take place after episode 6, because its not like any of that time period has already been covered.
Is it just me or is anyone else rather irritated at all these new decisions that are obviously the result of Disney. I am a huge Star Wars fan, and I dont think Disney is doing the right things for the franchise. Also, opinions of the matter of companies buying other companies and ruining things?

They cancelled Star Wars: The Clone Wars? Holy **bleep** i love that show... and the HD thingies too? Dafaq.
i know! and just as it was getting beyond awesome.
they even had episodes made for the next season too.
reports have it that they will continue the series, but through Disney's typical "straight to DVD movie" type format.

To be honest when I heard Disney bought the fanchise from Lucas arts I figured to myself.... "Oh there goes a good series down the tube"
So Im not really shocked in the direction its going.
I just hope it makes sense...
Still cant believe they took the cartoon/3D away... exactly what you was saying I was just starting to get really into it.

They didn't just cancel the games, they pretty much completely shut down LucasArts. The only thing that they'll do now is licensing.
I'm extremely disappointed with Disney over this. I honestly can't say that I'm too surprised, but even still this is angering. I love the Star Wars franchised, and have loved many of the Star Wars games over the years, as well as looked forward to both of the canceled games.

They canceled Star Wars 1313? But the hype/discussion for that game after it's annoucement was phenomonal, they can't just cancel it and say "Yeah, so what?".
