All Shall Perish
Okay, yeah. Sure,.
Normally, I'd post a LDOH video in a case like this, but I decided to keep it at least remotely similar to your post:
Nah, you earned the TLDOH video.

i guess i started with Metallica, Disturbed and Linkin Park (even if Linkin Park isn't metal at all)
now i'm mostly into Power Metal and Death Metal, like:
Mors Principium Est:
and others ... i don't listen to a lot of bands that i used to, like Disturbed and Metallica, nor do i listen to older bands like megadeath and iron maiden, stick with more modern metal / modern albums

So I was looking through my CD's and I saw Peice of Mind. I put it in the tray and played
Run to the Hills. Then the Trooper. ETC.........
Then I went down Nastalgia Blvd.
Don't get me wrong I listen to Metal from time to time just not like when I was a teenager in the 80's.
So I figured WTH let's see what other people think.
I have a hard time narrowing it down to just 1.
So I'll pick 2.
The Albums that I look back on and say that's what got me into metal and kept me there.
Master of Puppets / Metallica
Number of the Beast / Iron Maiden
There are a hundred more, it was a tough decision.
What can you come up with, take 2.
Those are great albums! From beginning to end! Picking two albums is tough as you've chosen the two I most likely would've gone with. So in addition to yours, I'm going to say...
Judas Priest "Screaming For Vengeance"
and Ozzy Osbourne's "Speak Of The Devil"

Hmm, never thought a "live" album (Speak Of The Devil from Ozzy) could spark an interest into metal, maybe actually seeing the show would more so, but then KISS Alive became such a hit and that's basically the album that started the KISS phenomena, even though the KISS Army had already begun prior to that release. I listed my two choices already, but that's because I am old and hard rock and metal albums in the 80's were basically nothing new to me. Though in the 80's I was looking for new bands to get into, I found Metallica, Testament, Dark Angel, Death Angel, Warlord, Warlock, Grim Reaper, Crimson Glory, Zebra (not metal and more rock than hard rock, kind of like Styx, who I really like too), Fates Warning, Suicidal Tendencies, Venom, Possessed, Bathory and a plethora of others. The 70's were my beginning of metal but the 80's blossomed it I guess you can say.
