Calvin Coolidge, definitely.

Not only did he strictly obey the Constiution, he actually cut the debt, putting him in a very exclusive group. That's right, he didn't just talk about it, and he didn't just cut the rate of growth, he actually made that number smaller. If somebody could do that again, they might be the hero that stops us from becoming the next Greece.

I think Calvin Coolidge was a decent president mainly because he had absolutely nothing bad happen while having nothing particularly amazing either.

 

The guy was "that president" in between Horrid Harding and Hurting Hoover.
