Do you think the MVP program was looked upon more positively when it was invite only? I personally think it was, but I want to know what you guys think

It's pretty obvious that it was, but what matters is what Sony wants to do with the program.

 

I may not be 100% on board with what they're doing (a sentiment which other members also have), but I'll go along with it.

Yes it was... However, I don't believe sheer numbers discredits the program.. and since this is at least the 3rd MVP thread in a week...I think I'll leave it at that.

It's a shame that all of this negativity towards the MVP program could potentially overshadow years of work that the program has done on here.

 

For the record, even though there are some that I don't think of as deserving to be a MVP, I have no problem with them personally. When I joined here, MVPs were few in numbers but all of them were people whose posts were almost always substantial and offered insight to the subject of the thread. Not going to name any names because I'd end up leaving a few out but a lot of them are still active in the program to this day.

 

Then again my opinion on this doesn't matter really since I never was a MVP or applied to be one.
