The second one was just bad imo, the first one was a good video game movie to me because it depicted the game so well.

I liked the second one, because it was a decent adaptation of the "Silent Hill 3" video game.

Plus, I liked all the quick references to "Silent Hill: Origins," "Silent Hill: Homecoming," (The truck driver) and "Silent Hill: Downpour" (The prision escort) at the end.

Now I hope the third movie is an adapation of "Silent Hill 2."

Yeah, I liked the few hints, but it wasn't really a decent adaption. The actors were horrible, chris(the father) was the only one who really carried out the movie and he was barely in it.

Heather was horrid, vincent was the worst vincent I ever saw, if they could have picked a worse actor, I would have been surprised. The "good" moments range from 2 that I really saw, which was the Pyramid Head cutting off the hands through the bars scene, and the scene with leonard which seemed to only last a few minutes, the boss fight with leonard was scary, scary as in I never want to see garbage like that again.

Dahlia was also a crappy character in the movie, the characters from the games were there, just very, VERY bad casting.

Sure, I liked the little references, but thats all they were, little, and the rest of the movie being so bad, took away the good that were the references.

I can see SH2 as the next movie, hell, chris goes back to SH to look for his wife who he believes is still alive. I can tell you guys the ending to the next movie, if its anything like the game, but I won't spoil it for those who haven't played SH2.

Who knows, hopefully the next movie will be decent, hopefully they get a new director and writer, and actually get a decent cast. Chris being the main guy in the next movie should be nice since he's a pretty fair actor, but we'll see. We'll obviously be seeing PH in the next movie, if not, then the movies lost sight to the whole franchise, as PH was supposed to only appear in SH2 anyways, that was his sole purpose, so if he doesn't appear in the next movie, ill be mad.

But I ain't no movie critic, just a horror fan :smileywink:

would be indeed..I don't see a SH4 movie coming out, because it has nothing to do with SH in the first place, but it would be unique to see...though, I think 1408 is the closest to a SH4 movie your gonna get.

Eh, completely forgot that I've seen Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children. That's definitely one of my favorites.

I enjoyed it, though personally didn't think it was that great of a movie, but "Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within" was visually mindblowing when it came out in theatres.
