Around March, I tried to play a rhythm game called osu! because some of my friends were playing that game. It is a good game however, I realize that I always get the poor ranking in every song I played just because I lacked in rhythm skills and I always break the combo. So I decide to leave that game for that reason althought my friends wants me in the game. I don't wanna have pain again.
Then I heard the news that an online game I was playing is about to shut down (NFSW) and some forumers suggest some racing games, particularly racing simulator, and then I decide to go back in playing GT4 on my 7 years old PS2 slim. I feel good while playing racing sim because it's the game I've been playing for a long time. Same applies to casual games that aren't much violent, and very friendly to players.

I belong to the action adventure, platforming, and third-person shooter genres because they cater to my tastes in gaming genres.

I don't think about genres, really. A game of any genre with a good gameplay, story and characters belongs to my shelf.
So, genres like sports and racing aren't my favorites. Role-playing games and action/adventures are closer to my heart because they usually have those 3 elements.
