I got my dream tv as of 3 days ago

Ok considering the view all posts on our profiles is not working, i will have to show and tell everyone about this amazing tv I found. it is a Samsung HL-R5087WX/XAA pedestal HDTV DLP. it outputs 720P. it was manufactured between 2004 and 2007 I believe. it has hdmi, and component inputs. the one I recently got on craigslist was a steal, as all it needs is a Osram projection lamp which can be had for under $100, considering the tv itself still sells for over $700. this tv was $4499 new. The tv itself has a sleek futuristic design with glossy silver sides and a black acrylic center touch sensitive panel with a led display to show system messages. If you want more information read up on the article from the 2004 CES show, they stated it was the best of CES 2004 out of all the electronics shown off at the time which info on it is about half a scroll down the page- http://www.digiupdate.com/105_DLP_RPTV.html

Resist obsolesence. Technology will always serve a purpose even if they are older, and slower. As long as that piece of technology still serves its purpose, why upgrade?

in my own eyes, there is no difference between 720P and 1080P maybey on larger displays but not for smaller ones.

I do not mean to sound insulting or anything, but if that is your "dream" TV... Dream larger.

Congrats on getting a TV though.
