Sixers gave up 139 points..... In regulation
On the other hand, if you hit 21 three pointers and don't score 139 points, I'd be fairly concerned. I feel bad for Will Barton though; only dude on Portland to jack a three and not hit one.
I want to make a joke about Philly running the ___ defense, which would've been a reference to some coach who I believe was fined for telling his team to not play defense in a game. It was in some basketball facts book I read when I was a kid, but I can't remember who it was, and lord knows where that book is now, heh. It might've actually been Don Nelson, since I think that story involved the Bucks in some fashion.
Long story short, were the Sixers even trying to stop Portland from the perimeter? More importantly, when is Portland going to play a good team on the road? Seems they're getting every quality opponent on their home floor and playing teams like the Sixers on the road.
Clippers at home...Heat at home...Thunder on the road on New Year's Eve...dang, it gets brutal in mid-January. At Spurs, Mavs, Rockets, Thunder.
Philly has been getting murdered as of late. I thought their coach came from san antone... dont they specialize on D there?
This was a nice end of game swattage.
Bron got super high on this non count dunkage.
something tells me dwade is not telling the truth, the whole truth, nothing but the truth with this comment.
“It’s a basketball game versus two good teams. It’s a lot of that going on in the NBA. It’s not a big deal. It’s not our championship, I’ll tell you that. It’s a competition there. [But] it’s not a rivalry yet.”
