Last night 3 things contributed to the bruins loss (in order):

1) Bruins Played Bad

2) Refs made bad calls

3) Montreal Played well

I understand, the jabs are all in lighthearted fun.

Edit: One of the best parts about last night was heading to the restaurant right by my place last night to have a drink with the owner ( a Bruins fan), we had a 1 billion dollar bet on the series. Obviously not going to collect on it, but did get the owner to say a phrase for me, and in good fun he did.

the phrase? "Go Habs Go"

Yup! That's pretty much what happened. Two minutes into the game I told my wife it could be our night, we have them where we wanted. The refs made bad calls  the whole series, or I should say made bad "not call" for both side. The difference was Montréal turned it to its advantage. They took the late hits and bad calls without arguing Boston on the other end already have quite a few "marked" players and they kept arguing. Never get on the bad side of the guy wearing the zebra jersey. Smiley Wink

What I love about Montréal this year is it's always team first. No one pointing fingers or complaining about their roles. Michel Therrien did a great job at it. Even when he could not avoid commenting on a player bad performence it was always in a gentlemen way.

When you see guys on the bench throwing water while the game is on. Throwing punches at the face-off. You know they put their own interrest before the team.  They let it grow under their skin and forgot the game plan.

And remember, referees don't score goals...

Not trying to rub it in but. (Sorry if it look like it) To me this game fate was almost sealed before Rene Rancourt started singing. One team stepped on the ice knowing they could win, the other knowing they could lose it by themself.

ok, Now about those Rangers...  Smiley Wink

Haha same reason why I can NEVER root for the Hawks Smiley Wink

I watched the Habs/Bruins game last night and the game before that and I must say the Bruins did not play well whatsoever either games. I feel for your loss, Pilgrim.

In other news, keep it up Kings!

Lot's of love for the Kings I'm seeing!  Smiley Very Happy  Thanks fellas. Today is the day. Time to prove that we are the rightful hockey club of Southern California. Who will win this Freeway Face-Off series. Back at "The Pond" tonight. No question, that this will be a battle. The intensity that the Kings had last game needs to transition to tonights game. Stay out of the penalty box (yeah I know, a tall order for the Kings) and quit turning it over in the neutral zone! Two big factors that will help win tonight IMO. So this is it...

Game 7!!!

I'm hoping for a very intense, exciting game. So far, I am not being disappointed. This is a very fast-paced, upbeat game this far.

Let's go Kings!
