Yay, I have 2 badges.
I have a feeling some of you have already beaten the Elite Four.
I'm in the fourth gym. Anyone who is already up to the Elite Four has to take a break. Like I've played it for 16 hours over the past 2 days. THAT is a lot IMO.
I've spent almost just as much time as you. It's for a good cause.
I'm not even at the second Gym yet, 11 hours in...just getting to that fossil cave. Catching almost everything I see lol.
My current party isn't really finalized, but its:
lv28 Frogadier (she's so cute!)
lv16 Nicada (want Shedinja lol; going to trade her for a fossil later)
lv22 Vivillon (blue one)
Better Hide Or Die Clan Website - Everyone is Welcome!
I just got my second badge. I'm absolutely loving the game (started playing Y first, will start X later)!
My current party consists of:
- Frogadier (after seeing Froakie's final form, I nicknamed him "Hayabusa" in honor of gaming's most badass ninja)
- Hawlucha (nicknamed him "El Fuerte" in honor of Street Fighter IV's luchador)
I'm not really focusing on coverage right now (as you can see, I have two dragons and two fire types in there). I'm just wanting to level up Pokemon I like. I captured Hawlucha last night and I have to say, it's such an amusing design. I immediately knew it was a flying / fighting hybrid lol.
Playing X-Version, I've come across an unusual In-Game Dilemma;
So many Useful Pokemon, Too few party Slots. I've got Frogadier, Combusken, Charmeleon, Snorlax, Pidgey, and Pikachu (Named "Ikue Otani" After her Voice actress. Awesome decision, BTW, Gamefreak) and a few more in Box 1 (Unless they're those nuisance previous-Gen feild-fillers, I catch every new pokemon I see).
That said, I'm glad pokemon finally recieve XP even after a capture. The Gen-1-style EXP Share also helps since the Routes in the Kalos Region are relatively short compared to those of Kanto, Johto, Sinnoh, Hoenn, and Unova and also have fewer Trainers.
The STAT training Mini-game is a fun addition, Now I can improve my party Pokemon's STATs the way I want without having to buy all those Stat-increasing Items that I never actually end up using.
