I just tried Wonder Trade. I decided to trade my level 48 Venasaur because I like Abomasnow way better. I got the best Pokemon in existence.

YOU DID WHAT? Smiley LOL LOL!

Isn't there a trade where you can choose which Pokemon you want in exchange instead of a blind trade? I haven't tried either.

EDIT: Maybe I should try my luck and send Fletchings in wonder trade. Some fool will give me a rare pokemon! Smiley Wink

Anyway I got my 2nd badge and my team is:

Frogadier

Snorlax

Charmeleon

Absol

Gloom

Kadabra

I never got the chance to buy Pokemon X and Y, but a fellow friend and classmate of mines at the college I go to has Pokemon X and I see he's enjoying the hell out of it. And I see he prefers Fire-type Pokemon and earned his 1st Gym Badge.

I might consider into getting that game when I get a 3DS of my own.

Found Wonder Trading.

Got a Spanish Inkay for my Nincada, a Canadian Oddish for my Snubbull and a British Caterpie for my Lunatone.

EDIT: then sent a Burmy and got a Simisear from Singapore...

I think the best Pokemon I got was this Fairy dog thing (actually called Swirlix and exclusive to X, got lucky!)  and that Pokemon called El Fetore or something (the flying-fighting type).

Haha, it's call Hawlucha.  I just named mine "El Fuerte" in reference to the luchador in Street Fighter IV who goes by the same name Robot LOL

Re: Pokemon X and Y

Oct 14, 2013

I am getting Pokemon Y and a 2DS (you read that correctly) a couple weeks.

The reason for me to buy a 2DS?

-Cheap

-I do not use the 3D, so why pay for an extra feature like that?

-The build quality is made to be used by a 7 year old which gives me confidence in how long it will last

-I mostly play handheld games when I camp. I care very little about how I look when I camp already and this hunk of plastic will not embarrass me any more than my bed head.

-It looks rather comfy to hold.

Why Pokemon Y? Because I am a hipster who does not want Charizard X. And I want Larvitar...
