I swear so much its not even funny.

Its ok behavioral studies have found that people who swear often are more trustworthy and honest than those who dont.

Hmm. I would be cautious with that. It is going to be differ in real life and should not be applied to people you meet. Wild swearing may be associated with people being more open and honest, but that is not causal. Someone wildly swearing may be an indicator that those people are very honest in their views and open, but someone swearing a lot could simply be based on their environment.

And psychology as a whole is still emerging as a science, so I am not easily swayed by new studies until many more corroborate the information.

If you have a problem with explicit language in games..... don't buy adult themed games.

Cognitive Dissonance - The ability to understand multiple viewpoints even if they conflict with one another - and still use critical thinking, logical thought, and common sense to come to the realization that only ONE is the correct one and the others are wrong.

I don't see adults spamming the f word in every sentence they say.

I think theres a time and a place for everything. Im playin Thief right now, and i am cringing, at the absolute awful way the story has been written so far. The way they just seem to sprinkle swear words into the conversations irratates me sa-vereleyyyy. it sounds like a 12 year old boy wrote the banter, on top of the overly generic leather and buckles look they gave Garret, its making my beloved franchise hard to play through.

You're not around the right people then.

I like to be around people who don't need to swear to express how they feel about things and people.

My parents swear a lot and i think it's so... uneeded.

Yeah I don't get that part. What does being Asian have to do with anything? I'm Asian and I swear without hesitation
