Saw this linked on GAF.  A 'deleted' scene just after Sookie & Eric leave the gang to go up on the elevator.  Jason says "I'm coming for you Warlow" and Norah, standing behind him says, "Warlow?  What do you know about Warlow?".  So she knows who he is:

What are the chances he's some other 'Vampire biblical' figure that could do battle with Lilith's new incarnation?  Or that he's just some ancient Vampire that can close the new power gap?  Since my dealing with Russell theory is gone, I guess they could still use his contract for Sookie to get him to deal with the new Bill/Lilith.

Excellent find Slash!  Kudos.  That was one last juicy bite to finish off the season.  Yum.

Norah was a chancellor in The Authority so Warlow might be a character from the Book Of Lilith.  Or maybe Salome mentioned Warlow some day a hundred years ago.

Agreed.  When he told her about killing that other guy, he was saying it slowly.  I assumed he said it like that so he could read her reactions.

Alcide is now Pack Master.  Good for him and he's got his dad at his back.  Guess the theory about his dad and V (in some relation) wasn't too far off, just that his dad wasn't going to use it this time and Alcide seeing that he would have to to actually save the pack.  He put his morals aside for this one time for the greater good of the pack.  Really interested in seeing where this story goes now, since the pack doesn't have to worry about Russell now.  Alcide's dad can probably join up now and have a pack again as well.

Yeah there was just no way around it.  The other wolves were just too strong on V.  Either Alcide or his dad would have to drink it.  Their feelings on the matter were irrelevant.

Oh boy Andy...SMH.  4 baby girls to take care of now as part of your light pact.  And Marella is leaving them entirely in your care.  Holly's reaction to all this seemed pretty...tame to me.

I think Holley is just in shock over the whole ordeal.  Everything happened so fast and she got sucked into the unbelievable events.  Maybe when they all go home and she has a minute to think about everything.  Andy is actually pretty much innocent in all of this because he thought it was a dream and was kinda under their spell.  But he's so lousy at explaining things.  Holley will almost certainly blow up on him.  I think it will lead to some real problems, especially when the kids are running around blasting the furniture with light blasts.

UGH!  June of next year?  So freaking long Smiley Sad

That was just a guess.  I'm estimating June.  You know the actress who plays Sookie is pregnant, so they will have some logistical issues shooting this next season.

Re: **True Blood Discussion Thread** (title change)

Jul 8, 2013

Thought I'd bump this after tonight's episode.

Spoiler
Ben is Warlow.  Didn't know that Warlow was a Hybrid (Fairy & Vampire) and I didn't make the connection that Ben was Warlow until after the Jason/Gramps confrontation with him (despite Sookie coming to the conclusion herself and seeing the blood glow like before).  Older than the Fairy King (who has just been cast into the dimension Warlow was locked in) and he was Lilith's progenies making him one of the oldest Vampires (wikia says 5,500 years old making him the oldest now outside of Lilith but I think because she's dead, the titles is his).  So his age works in his favor for both halves of his species I'd assume.  Not to forget, he's a daywalker too.

Now I'm interested in how this whole Bill/Lilith-Warlow thing is going to work out.  Lilith seems focused on preserving Vampires against humans whereas Warlow is out for Sookie but if both entities were to come into contact with one another, would focus shift?  And where does Bill stand on the power scale with Lilith's gifts?  Can he take Warlow?

Also wondering how he'll factor in going forward.  He seems...kind of level headed as far as I can tell so if need be, can he be reasoned with to help out Sookie's Vampire friends or will the whole Lilith-Warlow thing keep that from happening (since Bill is working to that end too and outside of the Vampire Bible, Lilith & Warlow have made no mention of one another present day)?

Kind of disappointed in what happened with Jessica.  She was worried about Bill and she was the one who slipped, killing all 4 of the faeries who Andy is out looking for (and just made the connection that Vampires may be involved so I half expect him to stumble on his girls if he's heading to Bill's which is a shame; Andy calls him kin and Bill positioned to grab the girls and for the most part, Bill seemed to be taking care with them in only taking a little blood from them and without really coming into contact with it himself).

Also didn't know that Eric has only sired 2 of his own, the 2nd being the Governor's daughter tonight.  Pam was his first and only (so now she has a sister).  Really not liking this whole Governor/Concentration Camp thing.  Norah was captured, Tara rushing off probably gave away Pam so now she's caught and because of the Governor's daughter's slip up, she's being taken away too.  I'm assuming with the vision, if Andy stumbles on Bill's place, Jessica will be taken too.

Alcide needs to get Ricki (sp?) in check, and for that matter, he needs to really lock down on his pack.  She's really pushing the 'challenge' barrier these past few episodes with him and he lost control of them in the last episode when they killed the stupid group who thought it was wise to just waltz on in there spewing their crap.

Wow lots of spoilers in that. All I'm going to say is this was one interesting episode. Definitely wasn't expecting Ben to be Warlow. Maybe Warlow's progeny or something but wow. I just want to know why Nial didn't notice him before then.

Well, got my answer.  Didn't see the "As your Maker..." thing coming.  Bill has control over Warlow due to Lilith's blood.  She never released him and it seems if that's the case and a Maker can get some form of connection to their progeny, they can still command them.  And it seems Lilith did have use for Warlow when Vampire kind became threatened, which is now.  Warlow hates Vampires though so...good luck with that Bill.  I think once Sookie finds out about her friends that she may be the one to get Warlow to help willingly in exchange for whatever.  Kind of odd though that Lilith planned for this but Bill was going about other means to get the daywalker thing going instead of searching out Warlow who was the original component.

Still, interesting info coming to light.  Warlow didn't kill Sookie's parents 'just because'.  He killed them because they were going to kill her after he came to them to claim her.  He was simply protecting what was promised to him and he was even fine with leaving the matter till Sookie became of age and could make the decision herself or he could come and take her then, whichever way you wanted to look at it.  Wonder how Jason would feel about this new info though.

Atleast one of Andy's daughters survived but I don't think his means to securing as much was smart.  She was near death/drained and was given V.  Wondering how that's going to pan out and at that, who's blood it was if she does turn.  I guess that still provides her some use if the Warlow thing doesn't pan out.  Hell, maybe when it's all said and done, Warlow will take her up instead of Sookie...

Sarah Newlin is just...ugh.  Annoying.  And how did she rescind Jessica's invitation when the house/place belonged to Jason?  Eric's plan seems to have gone up in smoke too.  Willa (name?) didn't pan out like he intended and now, he's pitted against his first progeny, Pam.  Also have to take note that Eric is in a weight class of his own compared to everyone else they have in there.  Wonder who the other female Vampire was who helped Tara and Jessica (also to mention, not liking how annoying/whiny Jessica has been).

Terry is trying to get an old buddy (Deucalion from Teen Wolf) to kill him now because of the whole Patrick thing.  He's tried himself but couldn't so now he wants to finish a few things up and then have his buddy shoot him.  He doesn't want to know when it's coming either =\

Kind of glad Alcide's dad called out his little problem with his pack.  Alcide really does seem in over his head (the way he was trying to collect info at the bar) and Ricki is pushing it.  Now, he's sent off his dad who, oddly enough, is the one to find Sam at the motel he's staying at (with the girl that was offering to Alcide at the bar no less).

I love Lafayette.

Spoiler
It really shocked me that Sookies parents tried to kill her when she was a baby. I'm not sure what to think of Warlow yet... but I am enjoying this season more than the last one.

This thread has been traditionally wide open for discussion.  Spoilers assumed at all times, and let the reader beware if he/she didn't want to see something too early.

Is this a thing now, where everything is spoiler tagged?  Kind of puts a drag on the whole discussion doesn't it?

I was actually thinking of not doing the spoiler tags this week but clicked it anyways.  Eh...

Re: **True Blood Discussion Thread** (title change)

I'm glad the Governor is dead now. Was so sick of him and am more than sick of this 'vampire camp' thing (not for it's telling but just because of the things going on there). But it seems a plan is already in motion and Eric has to stop it or get help to. We now see why the Governor was offering a factory up to get Tru Blood back in business cause he was looking to poison the supply to kill off vampires. At least the plan to get Eric or Pam to kill the other fell flat on it's face too. Working together and putting a mark on Newlin for giving their info out. But the Governor found another way to get at Eric =\ Hoping things pan out for Nora. And the vampire 'James' (I think that was his name) that was put in the room with Jessica is alright in my book. Wasn't going to do what they wanted to Jessica (have sex with her) and was willing to take the punishment for it too. Sarah Newlin is playing dirty cause Jason showed up to save Jessica and I hope she gets a just deserved death.

Wonder how long Bill's day walk is going to last. It was enough time to find the Governor and kill him with no troubles but does he have enough time to get to the facility and free the Vampires? He's also butting heads with Lilith now which can either amount to nothing or she can royally screw him since her blood runs through him (could probably depower him or something) and he's lost Warlow for the time being. Speaking of Warlow, I kind of feel for him and I guess I now understand the 'monster' aspect of him. He never wanted any of this. He was turned by Lilith because she needed him for the future and he kills his whole family/tribe and in turn, kills her. He's a creature of 'light', as he put it and that wages war with his Vampire half and has been doing so for 5,000 years. Apparently when night comes, the Vampire half takes over. And the solution to this seems to be another Hybrid (Vampire & Faerie) so that they can feed off one another and he (and she) don't have to harm anyone else. That's his end game for wanting Sookie: she's the light so to speak at the end of this dark tunnel that Lilith thrust him into.

Glad to see the mess between Sam & Alcide cleared up. Emma is with her grandmother now and Sam is no longer allowed in Bon Temp/Shrevport. Alcide doesn't seem to care himself but it's fair warning that his pack will say otherwise. I guess he'll make up some excuse to take back to them. Kind of wish he'd cut his father some slack. His dad was happy with the choice he made to let Sam go and that Emma was with her family and that no one is going to expose them. Things worked out but now Alcide has to go back to the pack and fix this mess. He didn't want this in the first place. Yes the group that Nicole was with was stupid for even approaching the pack but just as well, Alcide didn't have full control of them and they killed that group. He tried to stop them and it's just been a rough ride sense. He'll need his dad I'm sure to help keep things in order...if Ricki/Rikki hasn't rallied the pack behind her in his absence that is.

Sad to see Terry go and in such a bad way too. He finally had that weight off his mind but no one else knew about the deal he had set up. Too little too late for Holly and Arlene's plan which seemed to be a good move for Terry Smiley Sad
