Also seeing people saying wait for MS at E3 because they planned to show off in 2 stages (entertainment at one point, games at another) and because this was televised, they played up the entertainment angle for the reveal.

We should have an acronym contest in honor of the "Big" reveal!

Re: Xbox One Discussion

Okay, that was possibly the most disappointing reveal in the history of gaming. I typically try to look at the positives more than the negatives, but this thing is just bad. I'm not even going to call it a console. Its like Microsoft wants to lose money..they literally revealed more negatives than positives.

On the postive side of things, we have the controller. Thats about all I actually liked. Definitely an improvement over the 360, but I would actually have to get it in my hands to know whether or not I like it entirely. So even the 1 positive is not set in stone.

On the negative side, we have just about everything else. First of all, it looks nothing like a console, more like a cable box. Thats not really a major complaint, just a nitpick. But then, theres the voice activation thing. Now, it seems like a cool concept, but from the way things seem, it is going to be executed horribly. If it is super sensitive, its an awful feature. The whole "Kinect must be connected to play", dumb as **bleep** idea. Now, the major killer here is the whole situation with used games. No used games = So many sales lost. And the fact that we might have to pay for others to play games that are registered on our systems, thats the worst thing made since Battlefield Earth. They also never said online wouldn't be free, so then there is that. Plus, the "must be online at all times" thing isn't looking too good either....Micro$oft, you guys have earned that title, but might lose it with the release of the Xbox One.

It is official. I am TOTALLY with PS4 on this one. If the PS4 manages to be worst than the Xbox One, consider that an accomplishment.

Sony's stock rising may not have been a direct result of Microsoft's laughable reveal:

Who the hell needs even 200 friends???? You can't play with all them at the same time let alone need 1000 friends. I must be the only person who plays with my actual friends and not a bunch of people I really dont know.

Ahahahahahah!  With the time it rose, in correlation to the "reveal" it is actually hard to say it is a coincidence! ROFL
