  • Spam. No advertising commercial products or services or solicitations (this includes petitions, asking others to vote on a poll, and advertising your own personal website or other forum). No making off-topic or redundant threads, no posting multiple times in a row with nothing new, and no:
    1.  Bumping: making a new post solely to bring it up to the top of the thread listing and push down legitimate discussions.
    2.  In Before the Lock: Posting “I.B.T.L” or something offensive just before we lock a thread doesn’t add to the discussion and isn’t welcome.
    3.  Quote for Truth: (QFT) This applies when you quote someone you agree with, but also doesn’t contribute anything to the discussion. Try to add something relevant or add a “Kudos” to their post.
    4. Poll Threads: Polls can be a good way to jumpstart a constructive discussion, but poll threads that don’t encourage any kind of discussion will be edited, locked or deleted.

You can always report it then move along.  A little forum friendly tip: don't announce to everyone what they are doing wrong, just makes you look like an unwanted self appointed forum police officer. If something is out of line report it, and let moderation handle it. That being said... there has been a lot of this recently so I understand where you are coming from.

Why do you even bring this up? This place is not even moderated, endless theads of the same exact things keep poping up every single day after there are already "official" threads on the exact topic.

Stop trying to enforce rules you cant enforce. Now go have your mommy make some soup for you.

Use your eyes and brain for once.

This forum IS moderaterad. How do you think threads keep getting moved and locked?

You are just ticked you cant afford $5 a month. Oh, and my mother lives in Michigan. I live by myself in new york, FYI.

Now would be a good time to walk away... otherwise you are just instigating a fight and thread will ultimately end up moderated/locked if this keeps up. FYI Smiley Wink

The forum IS regularly moderated.... on any give day, theres at least ONE moderator locking, deleting, editing and moving threads.

If you report all the duplicate threads, sooner or later, they'll get to it. Its happened before.
Its helpful to the mods to at least include one link to a duplicate/relevant thread that is older that already exists and suggest they merge the threads into one.

How are they supposed to know what they did wrong if no one calls them out on it?

Mods can't get to every single thread.

Remember, its encouraged that we police ourselves... this is a MASSIVE community, and there's too few mods.

Of course no one likes to be told that they're in the wrong, those people need to get their heads out of their butts and learn the forums rules and guidelines.

You can call me "forum police" all you want.... but everyone complains about someone's thread and nothing happens because they don't report it. It seems I'm of but a few people who want to keep this forum stay the way its been for the past few years.
The last thing ANYONE wants, is for this forum to turn into the massive chaos that is the Xbox forum.
