I do now. I thought if I didn't and I got hit I would sue the driver but then I remembered the term 'hit and run' so now I look both ways.

I do most of the time. When I would wlk home from school during lunch hour there is this street that hardly gets used during that hour so I just go unless I hear a car coming

Left, right and left again. That's what I taught my son too. There are some absolutely horrid drivers out there.

I do it when I jaywalk but I usually jaywalk in residential areas that are safer than the mainstreets. I'd never do it blindly though.

I've seen flowers with crosses on sidewalks in some of the main streets. Those are the places you definitely don't want to cross ever.
