how do you record your gameplay?

so i play battlefield 3 alot and i always have those awesome bf3. and im always seeing  youtube videos who have their tv recorded.

anyways how do you do this? and is it expensive?

You use a recording device: the HDPVR. I know some brands like Happauge and Elgato and they cost around 200$ each.

Hauppauge HD PVR. Just buy the first one, the second one makes no difference when recording PS3, because you can't record through HDMI on PS3, it's still component.

I'm actually selling my HD PVR, but since you're overseas, yeah... Smiley Tongue

Still fine to record with the first PVR. There's pretty much no difference in quality - It's just less cables, which doesn't mean it's less easier, it's just less cables to set up with.

That's the one you want, gaming edition. It's $50 off at the moment if you have the money, and it's the second one.

The first PVR is currently $50 more than the PVR 2, which doesn't make sense Smiley Tongue

Is it even worth it now? I thought I read that te PS4 will be able to record and commentate and upload gameplay.
