Memory Stick Problem...

Well when I put my memory card in my PSP 3000 or 1000 all it does is blinks and it wont stop. Does any one know what the problem is?

Memory STICK, not card
did you put the memory stick in right and all the way?

Yeah I put it in all the way and in the right and it is a Sandisk memory card.
