MediaGo for MAC.

When are we going to have a MediaGo available for MAC? I currently don't have a PC and am having difficulties to use my PSS account and to download games.

Re: MediaGo for MAC.

It is unlikely that Media Go will ever be available for MacOS X. Media Go uses Microsoft's .NET framework, which doesn't exist on the Mac.  Porting it to MacOS would be expensive, and frankly Sony expects Mac owners to buy Apple handhelds and phones the overwhelming majority of the time.  It isn't worth the investment to Sony.  The Vita's Connection Manager Assistant is a much smaller and simpler piece of software that will support MacOS.  Have you considered running Media Go in a Windows virtual machine on your Mac?

Sony keep this in mind Macs are now the hottest computers out there. Just try and buy one, odds are the model you want is out of stock. Also I wish Media Go was available for Linux as Linux according to the UN is the #1 OS in the world.

Are you able to download games directly to your PSP via WiFi?

Sony sells high-end laptops that compete with Macs, so we can safely assume that Sony is well aware of what the market share of Macs are; and still doesn't think it is worth the investment. Linux is popular in lots of places where Sony portable game consoles and smartphones are not sold, so they are irrelevant to Media Go.  The vast majority of Sony's sales are in countries where the number of households that only have a Linux computer, is even lower than the number that only have Macs.
