I want them to announce another Syphon Filter game since Logan's Shadow was awesome but I doubt it.

You know what? I hope they do too. Wait a minute... What if the new Syphon Filter is one of the PSP2's launch titles? That would be a nice kickoff. Lets hope!

TGS Sony Conference is happening as I post this post. Fingers crossed for the PSP2.

EDIT: Right now, Sony is talking about new PSP bundles. Uh-oh.

Sadly, I think that's a Monster Hunter-related insignia you have mistaken for an analog stick. This is a 3000, two tone Monster Hunter Special Edition.

EDIT: Get a load of this: They unveiled another PSP model, that is actually **bulkier** than the current 3000.

EDIT2: The "Hunter" PSP is just a bulked up 3000, with a big 2200mAh battery, nearly double the standard 3000 battery.

UPDATE EDIT 3:

NOTHING!

With new PSP games announced at TGS and are even being released at 2011, don't expect a PSP2 soon.

I know that it's awesome that they keep supporting the PSP. But I was expecting some big heavy hitting news after staying up 2AM in the night to read the LiveBlog.

That "bulked up" PSP 3000 sure looks interesting, it has curves outwards like a 1000 for a bigger battery and the analog stick has been redesigned to have a concave shape so your thumb does not go anywhere.

Hope they sell it outside of Monster Hunter.

I kinda like that bulkier PSP.  You know how if you have the extended battery in the 2000/3000, it has a special cover that sticks out to hold the larger battery?  What they did with this is just added some bulk to the other side so they match.

I'm glad to see a Hot Shots Golf for the Move too.  I still don't know if I'll get a Move, but that game certainly helps.

Ah to be in Japan where the PSP is actually loved. Still, a new analogue stick wasn't exactley the upgrade that I was hoping for. Can't wait to see how that will be marketed when competing with another hand held that does 3D.
