The spot where the PS3 connects with the AV/Component cord, that part of my PS3 is broke. Now, the question is, is that repairable. And if so, do I really have to spend $50 on sending it into PS? (The AV Multi Out port is what I'm talking about...)

I know it's not the AV cord, because I just spent $20 on a new one.... and using an HDMI on a HD TV works, but I do not currently use my PS3 on a HD TV so I really would like this fixed.

You could get an HDMI to component adapter but they are about $50 too. Ask a local computer repair shop if they can help you but I'm thinking whichever route you go $50 is a minimum.

Actually, I think I have a Warranty on it still, but where would I find the warranty?
