Well you really have to look at things objectively. People only really post things here when it's bad, with the people who are happy or content with it don't post at all. This is true is many areas where the happy people don't say anything about it but the unhappy people will.
I mean really, why would you? Hell, even your thread is negative to a certain degree. Go over to the Xbox forums and you'll see the same thing, people posting about the bad without any good. The good voice is quiet while the bad one is loud.
Oh, and as I added note, you don't see people posting things about "Hey! My console is perfect with no problems! Yay for me!" because it's pointless and kind of stupid.
Well don't worry about it. Trust me if there were real problems about there would be a lot more threads or a lot more pages with those threads. Things break, stop working, or malfunction, it happens all the time with things. Just trust me when I say you got nothing to worry about. The chances of things going wrong for you are less then 5%, assuming you don't do anything stupid like some people did downloading a jailbreak firmware and hoping Sony would fix the problem they themselves created.
