mattious_28 XMB custom redesign:.
Welcome to my XMB redesign thread. After a rediculous responce to my past versions, i have desided to increase my designs further, showing further enhancements that i think add to my exisitng ideas.
I made these designs in Adobe Photoshop CS3. Was bored one sunday morning whilst it was raining, so decided to make these designs purely for fun .
1) THESE ARE DESIGNS... please stop adding me asking if these are either REAL or idk...for a future update?
2)themes now out! http://boardsus.playstation.com/playstation/board/
In Game notification - Added PS button and subject of message to notification bar. User presses the PS button, fades out straight to the message.
The message: Pretty self explanitory / user presses (O) to return to the main XMB menu.
The Menu: Not much has changed since my previous designs / added an open conversation function. User presses the R3 button and a window comes up with all active conversations.
Open Conversations: Selecting one of these icons will open the chat window with whoever you are chatting with.
Friends List: Streamlined the interface. added a more options button which takes you to the following menu.
Party: I spent a bit of time on this, however unfinished as its not quite set out the way i want it. The idea was to have 3 main screens. A friends party lobby / a game settings page / and a clan lobby to easily create clan battles. Pressing the "load ingame create menu" loads up a mini version of the chosen games create game page.
In game create page: (could only find screenshot of join game / but u get the idea)

Hey there, About a week ago, i posted the intial designs of my interpretation of what i think the PS3 in game menu should look like. Frankly, i think the existing menu is dull and tbh boring. So i went away and started making my own version. I have had some great comments and feedback and am here with v2 of the menu. Hope you like! I've made a few changes, and started on some new stuff
NOTE: Music Page not finished!
Allow me too help.
BTW, Love the "Battery" gauge, look's neat with the green colour.
And for the rest of it, looks cool

That looks fantastic. As much as I want to see the XMB look like that I don't see it happening =/
It does look fantastic, and I don't see Sony listening to us either.
But think about how bad the current in-game XMB loads, now imagine how long it would take to load this. The loading times need to be improved before thinking about this. lol
