Please help! I bought a new PS3 Assassins creed 3 bundle not even a month ago and the controller that came with it isn't charging or turning on at all. I'm thinking it has a bad port on the controller for the USB because my other controller I bought separately works fine. I had tried everything and still nothing. I had purchased the system at Best Buy and got the warranty so should I take it in? Or anything else I may try to get it working?

Have you tried resetting the controller?

On the back of controller you will see a little hole with a paperclip push the reset button then try again.

Note:While doing this turn the other controller off.

It may have a bad port like you said.

Things to check-off...

Use another USB cord

Plug it in a computer/laptop and see if it turns on

Also, there is a little hole in the back of the controller. It is a reset button try that. It may help or not.

I tried pushing the small reset button and nothing. Also tried plugging it in to my laptop and still nothing happened. I have a separate charger that doesn't require the USB cord and if I move it a bit it finally flashes like its charging but then goes off.

 It's just a faulty controller then. Take it back and return it, sadly.

Ok. Thanks for the help. I really hate having to hassle with the lines at best buy but I got to if I want a controller that actually works.
