Sony wireless headset issue

5 replies 87 views Edited Mar 21, 2013
The USB that plugs into the ps3 is faulty. I've had 2 of them that have broke and returned both of them to the store. Now my 3rd one is broken, does anyone know if Sony will replace the USB, rather than me returning thenwhole thing to the store? The headset works fine but the USB has a poor weld inside.

Unless Sony has some kind of warranty for them, you are doomed. Once something happens to that USB Dongle, the headphones can go in the trash.

If you can't get it worked out, I would suggest buying better headphones where something like that dongle won't make or break your entire purchase. You can get into something decent starting at 180.00 to 200.00 but you might have to sacrifice wireless which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Actually its the first party product that's cheap. But unfortunatly people are suckers for first party marketing. The first party product isn't even Dolby Digital.
