Can any one advise me what's gone wrong and how to fix it, the problem being is that I have a slim ps3 when its connected up to the TV it says no signal brought a new cable but still no signal, plus when you switch it on the light goes green but then you can't turn it off, also when I did get it to work the main page would come on but then rafter a few seconds you end up with tons of lines across the screen please help have no idea what to do

Try resetting the video by holding the power button from standby (red light) for 2 beeps.
