Greetings,

I recently bought, for nostalgic reasons, since there were no adds or anything to make it really worth, the psone classic, FFVII. The game has a "root option" section, where you change controllers, memory slots, and you got an option where you switch your controller to analogic. The fact is, and I believe that this is no news but still, I havent been able to use my analog sticks to move.

Is this a known problem or my controller needs a fix?

You won't be able to.  The PS1 classics follow the same rules they did on the PS1.  That option is just there as a generic input method to use.  However FFVII never supported analog on the PS1, so it can't do it, even on the PS3.

If i recall correctly, FF7 never supported analog sticks..

I may be wrong though, but I recall having the same issue with the analog sticks on my PSOne when I replayed it a year or 2 ago, because I wasnt used to using the Dpads to move anymore.

I wish they did, I also bought to play on my PSP and the d-pad is kinda annoying cause the game has those weird controls. However, atleast they're not tank controls.

What's stupid is on PSP, you can play with the analog stick.

Sony could easily just convert the analog data into digital when the controller is set to digital mode in PS1 games.
