Laptop HDMI port used as a monitor on laptops?

3 replies 17 views Edited Oct 12, 2009
I have a Sony Vaio FW laptop with 1080P screen with an HDMI port, I've been looking for a way to get the laptop to work as a TV.  Since I have been able to plug my desktop into in it and make it work that way.. Then why wont my PS3 just recognize the laptop?

Yeah.. I did some tests... If i had a usb dongle thing or an vga to hdmi deal i could do it, but its not... The HDMI port is purely a output... Oh well... Thanks guys.
