Trophies on new PS3

I got a new PS3, but I didn't have a chance to backup any of my save files and transfer them. Does this mean that anytime I play one of my old games, the trophy level will revert back to 0%?

I already did this with MW2, and I don't want to sync it since I'll lose a lot of trophies. Do I have a choice?

If you synced them on your previous PS3, the trophies should be stored on the PSN servers, not your PS3. So you shouldn't have a problem.

I did, but now that I started up MW2 with no file save, it shows that I have 0% of the trophies for it. And I don't want to sync it NOW, since it might stay that way once I do.

I'm pretty sure the reason it says 0% is because you haven't synced up yet. This is the only advice I can give you. Sorry.

I would just try to sync and see what happens. I'm assuming that you will be happy.

Sync your trophies. They will be downloaded from the PSN servers to your PS3.

Just sync it already. You'll get back the exact same amount from the last sync. Anything you earned between your last sync and your old PS3's death will have to be re-earned.
